Confusion about Sunrise Ticket Sales...

Hi all,

We've had a torrid time selling tickets for this year's event, and we've learnt many a lesson about how to do it next year.

Recently added to the website is this message:

"There have been different phases of ticket selling for this year's event - unfortunately, we've had to change ticket agent again, at this late stage, which has confused a few customers!

To clarify, all orders (all early bird orders) up to and including 13th April were processed by NoChex or our Glastonbury Box Office (telephone orders) and ticket posting is dealt by Sunrise in-house.
(Order numbers are SCNP-**** or SC-****)

Between 14th April and 25th May, Ticket South handled our ticket sales at the full price and they are repsonsible for sending out your tickets around 3rd June.
(Order numbers are 7 digits often starting with 38*****)

From 26th May onwards, Sunrise handles online sales again in-house (to keep costs lower for the customer) and telephone sales will be split between the Sunrise office and Bristol Ticket Shop. Sunrise recieves these particular orders and processes the ticket posting in-house.

We apologise for any confusion that may have arisen as a result of these changes."

I'd also like to say sorry to anyone who did pay the extra booking fee charged by Ticket South, but as a result of those charges, we've swapped to give people a better deal on booking their tickets. Next year, we'll do everything in-house to avoid such confusions...

I've mentioned this on another thread but this seems the right place - i've ordered tickets for my mates and the site says to collect them at gate. It says you need I.D. and a reference number from the nochex email but i have searched the email and cannot find a number

Thanks a lot guys,it was my mates card and his address but my email address. I've printed off the email from nochex and told him to present that with his I.D. he was getting a bit worried as I'm coming up tomorrow with the Geodesum crew and he aint very computer savvy.

You'd better e-mail me seperately with your details then, as the ticket info won't be there for a couple of days.

EXACT Transaction date and time are also very good - bung that in your e-mail....

Then I'll make sure the details are available on the gate...unless I'm daft and you mean you have YOUR ticket already and they are coming later...in which case don't panic...ticket stuff on gate by Thursday midday.

Cheers, I do indeed have my ticket and the query was just concerning them. I'm Packing my bag as i type , don't suppose there's a hotspot near the site is there?

HI Pete,

Storm woke me up tonight...hope everyone's alright on site!

Courtesy of D-Link UK we've got hotspots on site - they're coming Tuesday to install the wireless network (we have one already for production - but D-Link said they'd come along and help out for the punters too!)
