Reading through all your stories makes me want to go back again.... it just went too quickly! Loved Glade, had an amzing time, but I always feel like I never did all the things I wanted to do, there just isn't enough time in the day! I was disapointed with some of the acts (breaks mostly), but overall wonderful sets from Overkill and Glade Stage. I love the Glade because you don't have to walk half a mile to get from your tent to the main action... wonderful! And there's always wonderful music and people smiling at you (although I did notice a few scallies this year... boo!)
Next year:
- No more people, if it got bigger it wouldn't be the same. I prefered it last year, but there's no way the organisers will reduce numbers.
- LOUDER soundsystems. Screw the locals, it's only one weekend! The Big Chill was wicked because it was LOUD, and they had outdoor stages too! If the locals complain then move the location. As much as I love the location, I would rather sacrifice it to have banging nights. Also, would this mean music on Sunday night?!
- Better security. Again, the Big Chill's security was top notch. Not at all over the top, only saw their presence at check points, and even then they didn't search us, just checked wristbands and made sure everybody was safe (I can't remember what company it was unfortunatly).
- Also, if you're not gonna release the line-up again then have a couple of extra drum and bass acts please (High Contrast and Andy C preferably)!
- To solve the problem of litter then emply the Leave No Trace people to litter pick and recycle. I did it at the Big Chill and it was great fun, if a little tiring to work at 6 in the morning after no sleep and then carrying on with the festival after work!
Apart from these things, which has been said by most other people anyway, I hope it's all the same as the previous years. I always have a wicked time and it's definitley my favourite festival. Highlight has to be DJ Zinc!
Thank you Glade organisers!

i used to really like him. i've been getting a lot of stick for it but i really can't stand him these days
The beatbox things a really cool idea, and his skills have improved quite a bit since we first saw him at Glasto04, but he's soooo arrogant now compared to back then. He was jumping around the stage smiling around, really excited, and going down the front of the crowd to dance, creating much more of a party vibe.
Now he just seems to shuffle around the stage striking poses (like far too many breaksheads seem to do in the clubs now too ) And his accent's become more wigga-ish evry time i've seen him. i still like the sounds he makes but his act as a whole just pisses me off now.
Come on Xander, sort it out.. stop taking yourself so fookin seriously..
