Hello.

I guess about 1 or 2 weeks before sunrise starts I will SET OFF on my little bike from NORWICH. And I will GO ALONG all the ROADS until I get to the place where the sunrise starts.

If anyone wants to come with me / or is good at reading maps (i'm not) / or both,
get in touch and we'll have a little jamboree on wheels.

Love,

Ruth Gordon

Are you taking all your festival gear on your bike? I've thought about cycle to festivals from Bristol, at least I do not have wait at a railway station for 4 hours... Hats off to you, that is pure punk rock.

Last year, my dad (bless him at 55 years) cycled the whole distance from Brighton to Sunrise in just two days (about 170 miles)

He did spend the rest of the Festival face down in the grass Shocked , but he's still alive and getting a lift up this year...bless his knee-high nylon/polyester socks.

Haha, well you know, I hadn't seen him for quite a while, and I reckon if he wasn't quite as old he'd would have been in the psy-trance tent doing the 'step-father at the wedding party' thing...

However, I know for a fact that he was nearly genetically bonded to the seat he was sitting in by the end of the Festival...(I think I and he managed to walk around site once over the whole period...)

Well, the proof is in the fact that he did cycle all that way, and he IS generally a lazy bugger...so you oldies (ahem...) folk of a more mature persuasion obviously have a few tricks up your sleeve...Peeks Crazy

There ya go, managed to patronise and alienate a sizable chunk of our customer-base...it's been nice knowing you...I think need to look for a new job... Twisted Evil
