I just thought I'd raise the subject of tree bogs. Brilliant though they were could you please, please make sure that:
a) They have some sort of seat (not all of us are able to squat)
b) That there is slip proof covering on the steps as I still have the scars to prove that I fell.
I'm sure you'll sort it Sunrise, so hope you don't mind me mentioning it again.

They will definitely be finished off with seats, yes. There will also be Thunderboxes with nice comfortable seating and a new compost design with all the mod cons as well.
We are DETERMINED to win the Best Toilets Award at the UK Festival Awards in 2008. We have a whole legion of our best stormtroopers...I mean eco-rangers working around the clock to keep toilets looking, feeling and smelling good!
There may even be nifty lighting.
Love,
Dan

Thank you Dan.
You can forget the lapdancers - unless they have huge protuberances that we could hang bags and coats on.

They will be male - Jack Sparrow lookalikes to please me and my friend lunar (despite the rude comments she made about my toilet techniques).

The compost loos at Waveform were much better than Sunrise, so hopefully they'll use that design from now on...

There are 86 compost toilets confirmed for Sunrise 2008 at current time.
Three different types: Finished off Treebogs, Thunderboxes (ala Waveform) and the new Natural Event Compost Loos - also to be used at Glastonbury this year but premiering at Sunrise.
Natural Events have already got 600 compost units functioning in Australia and have 'taken' the festival scene there.
They plan to do so here....I dunno, multi-national compost toilet companies...what next in our Green Revolution?

if we do have to squat again, a handle to hold onto for those who don't squat very well, or those who are a bit spangled, would be handy. also a bit more light at night would be good, my children loved the tree bogs but were a bit apprehensive about using them in the dark. also a hook would be useful
