Oh yes,

Finally we can reveal our first confirmed acts. There are many more still to come (200 in total!!! + 100 DJs) most of which we will try and announce here in good time.

Once again the music is of an eclectic blend of dub, world, ska, electronica, dub-step, psy trance, breaks, reggae, folk, Balkan beats and all manner of stompingly good tunes from rising stars, established favourites and surprise collaborations, living up to Sunrise’s shining musical reputation.

So Far Confirmed lineup:

The Dub Pistols
West London hiphop breakbeat ska funksters who have been at the forefront of the UK beats seen for nearly a decade
Chewing up hip-hop, dub, techno, ska and punk and spitting them out in a renegade futuristic skank they have consistently defied categorisation and exceeded the highest of expectations.
www.myspace.com/thedubpistols

The Beat www.myspace.com/thenewenglishbeat
Legendry Ska reggae ensemble with global influences and a 3 decade history!

Mancini www.myspace.com/manciniband
A electro-pop trio from London. Fronted by femme fatal Iraina, Mancini have a vibe that oozes style and charm. Ultra smooth vocals are brought to life with ragged guitars and electronic experimentation - the results are classic but original, cutting-edge yet of its time. Mancini aim to seduce and seduce they do!

Annie Nightingale Radio 1 DJ www.myspace.com/djannienightingale
Annie Nightingale, Radio 1's first female DJ, is now its longest serving DJ and is generally described by others as legendary. She is nowadays known as 'Queen of Breaks'. This year she has won the International Breakspoll Award for Best Radio show for the second year running, was nominated in the 2007 Sony Radio Awards' Broadcasters' Broadcaster Award, and this year has also has been nominated for an Outstanding Contribution Award in DJ Magazine's Best Of British Awards.

Orchid Star www.myspace.com/peteardronsorchidstar
Lush and colourful electronica with a strong world music influence – Indian, Arabic, Celtic, African and more - fused with everything from psychedelic chill and dub to drum & bass and funk.

Subsource www.myspace.com/subsource
This is a band like no other you have ever encountered. Go to a Subsource performance and you will be greeted by four nutcases laying down the most insane concoction of electro and breakbeat with frenetic punk rock energy. The sound of Subsource inspires comparison to The Prodigy, Basement Jaxx and Reprazent - and their stage shows have to be seen to be believed.

3 Daft Monkeys www.myspace.com/3daftmonkeys
World influenced acoustic music, with a hint of the bizarre!
From Cornwall, 3 Daft Monkeys combine rousing vocals, frenetic fiddling, rhythmical 12-string guitar, dancing bass and foot drum.

Nucleus Roots www.myspace.com/nucleusrootsofficial
The Band was established in 1996 from the ashes of Manchester's highly acclaimed punky reggae band, Community Charge. Nucleus Roots have evolved musically, productively and in stature. Having released four classic reggae albums they have become recognised for their unique and authentic roots productions which has led them to musical collaborations with leading reggae artists both as home and abroad such as: Twinkle Brothers, Misty in Roots, Dub Syndicatem, The Natura-ites, Desmond Dekker, Jah Shaka, Aba Shanti and Fredlocks to name but a few

Also...

YES SIR BOSS – SHEELANAGIG - Jono Mckleery band
SWEET SWEET LIES - RAchel Dadd - BONZE - FOLK STOMPERS (inc. Paul Didge) - Lazy Habits - King Porter Stomp - The Common Moral Cause - Freedom of Expression - Queen's English
Sarah Williams White - L-Mo - Works In progress

We are confirming some more exciting acts soon so keep checking the website!

pace myself?

I use this simple formula

10 - dance/ party
20 repeat 10 untill :drop : or leave:

where -

drop = power nap

remark : Danger of human buckaroo and waking up to find some pesky kid (or adult) has writen over your face.

leave: make sure only happens after :drop:X2

warning may be followed by :drop:X week
