They have quite a good variety of things, always the opportunity to try something new. The potatoe wedgies are a cheap alternative and a guilty pleasure.

everything we had was really nice!! the french potato and carrot thing from the place that also made crepes was lovely, and there was a stall making real chips that were yummy.

We ate lots last year and found a good selection of foods some were completly new to me ,for instance ferret on french toast with humous, wasnt sure about it at first but it was suprisingly ok.We didnt go back for seconeds but i would reccomend it if you like something a little different and new.
There was also some realy nice teas to try out.
On a whole the food was realy yummy and resonibly priced.

OMG seriously, these chips were the best EVAR and had the skins left on. i think they were organic too and prepared by the people that were cooking and selling them no nasty stale fat taste there!
There was a nice place doing fish (maybe 2006 tho) and an african place that did lush curry/stew type stuff. YUM!

Ferret
I don't usually eat a lot at festivals but I try to get my appetite back to have at least one nice meal. The Moon Cafe or something similarly named was good. They did some really tasty veggie food and excellent curries and the people were cool too. It was near the campervan field.
Yeah, earplugs are a must at festivals and at home. I have neighbours who get up every bloody morning at 5am. Far worse than skylarks

Agreeing with Chooks that the African kitchen that was there for the first year was superb food.
And the Ladies were very very nice people

Yeah, why is it I always less hungry at festivals then when I'm back to normality? Could be all the bright shiny colours to distract me I suppose, but maybe other reasons...
Eat less drink more and other stuff...

Buddhafields cafe has been our staple the last 2 Sunrises. Really hearty satisfying and tasty meals. Worth trekking across the field for.
But really, most of the vegan food at Sunrise is pretty good (good enough to have converted me from a confirmed carnivore to a part-time veggie!). I don't recommend the beanburger and chips type vans, get a proper meal from one of the cafes

The skylarks at Sunrise shout at you for camping on their eggs at around 5am. They are loud , but beautiful, but not as loud as my ageing chav neighbours who are very ugly and extremely crass
