On Friday morning, when we were being pressured to leave quickly, why were people being charged up to £20 to be towed out by a fleet of tractors? Apparently, the farmer was keen to see us all gone, but not if you couldn't or wouldn't pay!!!

Money grabbing w*nkers!!!!!
And they were still charging people on Saturday afternoon, after it had dried out enough so that with a bit of a nudge from us, our friend drove out under her own (aircooled) power

and on Sunday when we drove ourselves off.
Them there tractors do a lot of damage in the wet! If everyone had sat tight and waited, the campervan area at least, would have been much less churned up.
And, to add insult to injury. after hassling us to leave all weekend, we get held up Sunday teatime in the lane outside cos someone was stuck and they couldn’t get them out with a 4wd

They should've called a tractor, £15 was the going rate by then!
Still, it's amazing how long the kids can find mud fun!!! and it was nice to meet new people, even if I may not recognise you without a coating of Somerset mud!
Maybe Kate'll stick some of our pics up in a bit, or tomorow or something.
