I like shithead but my mates and, more importantly, my partner hates it! We sometimes play a derivation of it called Wheat American. Sevens is an absolute piece of piss to learn. Honest...

I love shithead, I'm always up for a game.
I'm pretty sure I've played sevens before, really easy one right? just lining up the cards in order each side of the 7s?
I love easy card games, they give your hands something to do while allowing for plenty of monged talk.
also, gotta love a bit of:
'Who's go is it?'
'I dunno. Did you put that 6 down?'
'er...........'
every 5 minutes for the whole game.

Most of my groups of friends take loads of silly hats and fancy dress to festivals. Dressing up daft = teh funs.

I'm travelling light(er) this year so no bangface dressing up or anything
As long as I've got me wellies, waterproofs, jumpers, suncream and binbags I'll be happy
Suppose a tent/sleeping bag/money kind of combo wouldn't go amiss either hehe

I'd love to take loads of random stuff but it's such a pain in the arse on the train.

Tell me about it - I did Beatherder last weekend and it's the first time in ages I've gone by train and not had a lift to a festival.
Was bloody hard work getting everything in one bag and leaving behind my windmills and shit
Still fitted my fairy lights in the tent bag though some things I cannot do without

My friend got engaged at Beatherder this year, apparently on one of the stages! it's only a half hour or so from me. Wanted to go this year but I can only afford the one festival.
fairy lights are always needed!

well, ive got most of the camp stuff organised, some of it proudly still has sunrise mud on it and the picnic rug still has 'not in somerset' written on it from the post-sunrise party in hampshire
so check: gazebo, pretties, kitchen stuff, chairs, table, tent, airbed, blanket (plus spares for the inevitable cold people ), fairy lights, lamps, wind break.
struggling as ever with what to take to wear, the giraffe stuff is packed but i never know what else to take, youd think i'd have learned by now?? and what coat do i take???
ok im off back to the bedroom to stare blankly at clothes until they tell me they want to go.

has anyone who will be at the fw camp got a big water carrier? bottles dont last long when the kettle keeps getting filled! We had a big one at sunrise it was just the thing. If not then we have to hope we're not too far from a tap!
think im almost sorted. ive even decided on coat.
possibly feeling a slight excitement. once the car unpacked and camp is set, sure i'll be well ready!

mmm, probably not, I need to figure out a better way of hanging it and I doubt I'll get it done in time for Glade
Also getting large pointy metal spikes & sledgehammer past security might be entertaining
Maybe Big Chill tho
