Reasonable at times
The coming week looks likely to be a good deal better than the last one as the Azores high pressure nudges slightly closer to the UK. As a result there should be a fair amount of dry and bright weather around in southern areas, although unsettled weather is more likely in northern regions. This week marks the half way point in the meteorological summer, and perhaps a turning point in the weather patterns. Our view is that while the second half of summer is unlikely to be a scorcher, it is likely to bring better conditions than the first half, with higher temperatures and more drier spells.
