just be discreet and sensible innit - keep anything you don't want others to see in your tent.

It's not good, I know, but they have to put stuff on the licence for the council. I would have thought they'd be sensible and looking out more for dealers and violent types (I hope anyway!)

don't they have cctv at other festivals now anyway? I think they do at glasto. Sadly it's probably going to be more and more common. Sad

on glad talk there was a discussion about this document and apparently a lot has changed since it was made earlier this year.

plus i cant remember where it came from but i think it was one of the organisers that there wasnt any cctv nor was there ever meant to be.

who knows? in reality we have no idea.

lets just hope the security are sensible and look after us, after all thats one of the reasons they are there, and obviously if they catch anyone doing anything illegal and obviously they will act. If its illegal outside the festival its illegal inside.

It's mentioned in another thread on here that the Glade organisers have said that there is no CCTV at Glade.

All this information comes from a general plan that covers all possible areas - much of the information has changed since the plan was published...such as number of festival goers and the alcohol policy...i would imagine that there are other changes too, that we're not aware of.

our camp was near a steward tower which seems a good idea! we had no problems and i didnt hear about any theivery, tho that doesnt mean it didnt happen.

we did get one of our 3 flag poles and set of lights stolen, but only on the last night, and they were very appealing!

Still out of all the glades for me, the security presence was appropriate & i didnt see or hear about any upsetting / unjustified incidences.

I didn't see any trouble at all, security were spot on as far as I could tell.

David had his phone and a bit of cash stolen from his tent, I think that was Saturday night Sad

He went off to report it and while doing so witnessed more drama - someone had been trying to thieve elsewhere on site and punched a girl Mad so there was a full on chase... I think the guy hopped it into the woods though.

Apart from that, I didn't hear of anything else and yeah the security were indeed spot on this year. Really smiley everytime I came across them and genuinely friendly - I sat down near the main stage at one point to have a cigarette and the dudes nearby let on and made sure I was alright (I was sober at the time, must have looked a bit rough round the edges Laughing)

The girl who got punched was near us, horrible story. Sad

I didn't get anything nicked but my tent had been open a couple of times - bastards couldn't find anything though, messy tents ftw!

You must have been right next to us Twist... we were at the top the field above Information near to one of the exits on the edge of the camping area just above a gazebo. Heard the commotion with the girl but left the chasing to the more sprightly vigilantes. hope they caught the fucker...

yeah, we were pretty much straight up from the general store, in that first bit. You were right near us!

I did get told what happened but I was a bit munted so all this I'm about to say may be bollocks - anyway - I seem to remember he was caught, and he apparently had a car on site that was filled with people's stuff. I assume he got what was coming to him, anyway. Knob.

If anyone got anything nicked it may be worth checking if it was recovered.

I had a quite weird experience my self actually...

It was daytime and I came back to the tent (our lot were already there) and said ' hello darling' to mejulie when this lad jumped up from behind a (very) nearby tent and sprinted off! I couldn't decide whether he was a tent thief or a fucked up munter! Thing is, there were loads of people around and it was broad daylight so I decided he was messing about.

Needless to say I got the piss taken out of me constantly for the next 2 hours...
