sunrise @ big chill - Sunrise line up??

Sounds like we've got to do our own research on this boys and girls. Lets start compiling a list of people we are pretty sure that are going to be there.

Yes great idea, check all the myspaces from the original lineup!!

Well, I had a quick look at the; Solar Aid, Firefly and Waveforms live stages and did not turn up a great deal.

What we know so far:
Dubfx
The Summits
Planetman & The Internationalz
Perunika

Unfortunately there are a few other festivals around that weekend that people seem to be playing at, or they just haven't put anything on their website/myspape.

From going to both sunrise and big chill I can say that although they are different festivals they would certainly complement each other very well.

I wouldn't say that Big Chill is disgustingly corporate. It's certainly no Carling monopoly.

From what I can tell they accept sponsorship on a case by case basis, last year they had a wray and nephew's tent and various other sponsored alcohol tents but it just didn't have a corporate feel to it.
Big chill seems to attract families and the sort of older "middle class" non-drug taking hippies which isn't necessarily a bad thing.
There's a lovely vibe and it's very friendly. Lot's of lovely surprises.
Plenty of vegan food to choose from.

So yes, more corporate than sunrise but not horrible and it's not as un-sustainable as some festies but maybe not as good as sunrise with the compost loos...
