Oh no please don't be sad. I'll be there!!!!
I'm just hoping my replacement feather for my head dress arrives on time. The last one was involved in an unfortunate drowning incident at Bloom. Resulting in the subsequent photos of me looking less like Red Indian and more Boy George.
Me and TF are coming up friday morning.

was the best shambala I have had so far. : fancy dress on saturday got me so many wifes.
shame that wife 1, got sacked : no longer dave, found out she had a tail,
wife1 : now called ferol merrol and turned into a lezz. kept trying to get off with all the new dave's.
thiink we got to dave'24. : was one ace amount of fun.
met up with so many old and new friends. didnt eat due to back to the planet and horrace andy ( it was worth it)

Well I've finally (sort of) stepped off the magical cloud that I have been floating on since Shambala to be able to firmly say that that was the best festival ever!! Srlsy!! I have always loved Shambala (this was our 3rd one) but they just keep getting better! They've just got everything so very right, from practical stuff like clean toilets from beginning to end, fluffy and knowledgeable security and stewards, an organised finance office, brilliant site layout etc. to the incredible vibe that they create by booking brilliant but lesser-known acts and putting a lot of money into workshops, cabaret, walkabout performers, samba, a top fire show, a magical woodland walk, plenty of kids stuff, trippy lighting, piles of quirky and plenty of silly!
I was lucky enough to show films in the cinema tent, which was great fun. We all did a krumping workshop which was fabulous fun and I also did a didgeridoo workshop, though sadly I still can't circular breathe but will keep trying. I should've done more workshops really but there's always a next time. I was really keen to do the nipple tassle making and twirling workshop but wimped out at the last minute.
Shambala has a different feel to many others in that there is so much good stuff going on during the day that you don't want to stay up too late. It's by far the most difficult festival to leave at the end because you really do feel like you've become a part of teh Republic of Shambala which is a much better place than anywhere.
Photos are Here, though I didn't take many as I was far too busy soaking up the magic to get the camera out!
As Joy and Zen have already said, attendance at Shambala for you lot next year is COMPULSORY!!! Yay Shambala!!!!!!! |

sorry to hear one of the stages got seriously robbed of equipement - projector, decks, mixing stuff ,( see the shambala website for details) and some poor girl got hurt when the portalo was tipped over - nasty

Horrified to hear about the stage theft, such a shame, the only badness i heard about. Oh and zen and the green faery he drooled all weekend....
