tipi's

I got a question.....iv got a tipi that i would LOVE to be able to bring to sunrise......will i be able to?.....ie can i get my vehicle onto the camping site to set up...or how far is the parking from the camping?

Hey lunar

Not an 'official' answer, but last year Sunrise Festival had horse-drawn carts, which were doing trips from the car-park to the camping field. (donations)

I believe Sunrise will have the 'horse drawn field' again this year too, so perhaps expect the same again.

I'm sure Torbz will perhaps be able to confirm Question

hi daddy!

...thanx but trouble is that tipi poles are mighty long and i reckon they might be awkward on a horse drawn cart.....the canvas is no prob coz i always bring a wheelbarrow to festivals....but i dunno coz i aint seen the carts and what they can carry...its an idea...cheers mate thumbs up

Hello lunar - i think you may be right. Not sure but I think the horsedrawn carts probably wouldn't be long enough to fit tipi poles on from what I saw last year. I'm sure they'll let you bring your vehicle on just to set up though Question

...all the better if you have a sleeping child in them and then not only must you be fastest but said child must still be sleeping......altho doing it when the child is awake is BIG fun for the kid!! thumbs up
