Fly-Pitching

Buying a ticket does not entitle an attendee to flypitch at the festival. Flypitch licenses can be bought from the Market Officer between 10am and Midday at the designated flypitch zone (See programme on site). Licenses apply daily only and will need to be repurchased the next day. A new enforcement team will ensure that anybody found trading without a license or outside the designated area will have their items confiscated until the end of the festival.

Umm, I saw that there were no stalls left, and was wondering what constitutes fly-pitching and what are the general rules about availability and what is permissible? ..... and stuff. Not for me but 4 a friend Smile

Hi there,

Flypitching is generally considered to be a blanket stall, or, in some cases, a small cart or some such device. Its a bit flexible. On the other hand, if somebody turns up and sets up what amounts to a shop they will be charged a full pitch fee or their items confiscated until the end of the event.
