We’re just about on the home straight, folks, and it’s looking good for Sunrise 2008!!!
In the Charities & Campaigns Zone we’re planning a Buskathon in aid of the charity Ecoshelter (www.ecoshelter.org)
We’re asking you to ask any bands or musical / creative individuals you know to join in!
What we want is as continuous / back to back (acoustic?) busking sets as possible with bucket / guitar case collections being donated to Ecoshelter…
We did this once in St David’s Shopping Centre in Cardiff and raised £600+ in just a few hours.
Ecoshelter is also planning a sponsored nationwide / international Buskathon later in the year!!!
Expect some big names to be joining in throughout both Sunrise and the nationwide event.

It doesn’t necessarily need to be a band or even music – any sort of performance or anything suitable for busking…
We’ll have a “House Band” / “Supergroup” / “Mixed Bag” of Allsorts on call ready to fill any gaps
We will video and photograph the Buskathon for the Ecoshelter and Sunrise websites, YouTube, MySpace and Picassaweb Galleries and will publicise all participating acts widely!
