I'm 31 years old and it's crossed my mind that Glade in '08 might be a bit like going back in my old local.....full of people alot younger than me!

Honestly, I feel so old when i go in! The social scene i'm involved in now is alot different and perhaps naturally so. I enjoy it a great deal but i cant escape the worry that I'm gonna be some kind of 'oldie' floating around Glade looking like i should know better Confused

On the other hand i do love my dance music and have been going to parties and clubs since i was 17, perhaps i need to chill out a bit - i doubt anyone else there will be giving it a second thought.

31? I have friends in their 40s who still rave it up now and again. I think nothing of it - the love of a good old stomp has no age limit. Laughing

If you still enjoy it, you ain't too old, imho.

Show the young uns how it's meant to be done. Wink

Hear Hear, there's a guy who used to frequent the Tribe of Frog nights in Bristol, he celebrated his 60th birthday at one of their parties, and danced a lot more than I did!

Your are not even approuching too old! hehe your age is a number.. there are people far younger and far wiser then me and far older and more foolish.. age doesnt really have any relavence. I hope you decide to go! Lifes for living not worrying about age and other non important things like that! Come and have fun Smile

What's 'old' then? Not me Wink but I do know a few people of my age who wouldn't dream of getting up to the things that I enjoy doing most. Twisted Evil Good job too as I wouldn't want them dancing next to me when I'm chewing my face off at my next free party somewhere out in the sticks Cool Can't stand 'norms' Yuck! whatever their age.

maaate, I've got a decade up on you, and haven't even thought about getting old yet!

.... I was in my mid 30s when I went to my 1st 'proper' festival.... and looking fwd to many more too! Wink

Besides, it's only a few days after a buzzin' festival that you'll start to realise you're 'not as young as you used to be'. yes

Worst case asmooth, if you're feeling old, just come & hang with us..... if you can keep up that is. Laughing

Well!
There's a response for you! I feel i bit foolish worrying about this now. I knew that there were plenty of older people than me frequenting Glade, but i guess it's how you feel inside that counts!

Tickets bought and got the 'they've been posted' email, just waiting for 'em to arrive!

I shall be shaking my young ass at origin with carefree abandon Laughing

You have NO need to worry. I went to my first festival for years last year and was worried about being too old. I am 53! and was relieved see people my own age. Boy was I relieved. Go and enjoy!
