We're now in our third year for Kendal Calling, following two previous festivals at our rather nice location just outside of Kendal on the border of the Lake District / Cumbria. It should be noted that tickets are priced at £55 for the entire weekend - 1st, 2nd and 3rd August, inc. a programme, camping and car parking.
I won't list all the artists as I'd be here all night, but we've got
Super Furry Animals, British Sea Power, Dizzee Rascal, EMF, Mystery Jets, EMF, Frank Sidebottom, Howard Marks, The Long Blondes, DJ Yoda, Scratch Perverts, 3 Daft Monkeys, Glasvegas and so many, many more.
The festival is child friendly with an awesome childrens area lpanned (And Inspiral Carpets Clint Boon reading bedtime stories alongside Howard Marks.. interesting..!) and we've got some amazing caterers - from the Moody Bakers baking the festivals bread throguh to the Chai Chapel which most of us will have come across some time or other.
