'Twas awesome last year - Lee Perry turned up without his band (his memory is so fucked he probably forgot where he left them) so he just got a load of random musicians from other bands for some improvised dub jamming. I doubt that any audience will see that happen again Especially not at a festy organised by a folk-punk band from rural Dorset called Pronghorn.
I reckon it's too small + well drained to turn into a mudbath, even if it does rain. So if my back feels up to it on Fri, I'm gonna be there

He was at the Big Chill with Adrian Sherwood who was amazing but tbh We got rather bored of him just shouting lee scratch perry all time and wtf was that painting about????
I have seen him loads before and he was awesome but seems to have lost it somewhat.

yup
lee scratch perry at beautiful days bored me shitless. lots of bigging up the lee scratch perry but at dorset with the guys from the other band, it was phenominal, specially after molora & werent eat static there too?
hey realy looking forward to this year tho having avoided like the plague, alabama 3 at the square festival borth cos i've outgrown them long ago & they had the engines of their luxury tour buses spewing exhaust fumes out onto site for 8 hours or so just to keep air con on or whatever, not sure who to see in headliney mode.oops just realised rambling like a pissed thing.....

Disgraceful behaviour, ESPECIALLY on a website devoted to festivals

I'd would have liked to go to this one but no monies and it's in between BC and Beautiful days, there's no way we could do 3 weekends in a row!
The line up does look good tho, love to see the Cropdusters again and Pronghorn have been on my wanna see list for quite a few years too!
And it's only just up the road from us!

oh yes!! i am not alone
but wonder who else has danced whilst on their bicycle? a trick inexpertly performed by yours truly at 2 glades now (bit of a cheat cos u do need to be grabbing onto a pole ( & i dont mean a polish person, that'd be even funnier mind!!) saves foot ache but is a bit dangerous.
