there were fire pits last year so i reckon it will be the same this year!! made a big diff as it did get rather chilly at night yes

Things are a little different. Whilst there will be communal fires dotted about across the site (it is a fire festival after all), if you want your own you will need to buy firewood from a stall in the camping field (same for burners in camper vans) and hire a brazier for a deposit. This is returnable when you return the brazier.

The reason for this is simply that too many people were filling their vans with wood to use as a summer's supply.
