(for those that hate FB - here's what it says)
Love Tent is now in its 4th year and has found a beautiful new home in the ancient woodland and wildflower meadows of the east Sussex countryside, close to Hastings.
Take a hot running bath in a tree overlooking the woods, jump into the plunge pool fed by an ancient spring, play with the kittens in the woods, help to plant some trees or just chill out and take in the gorgeous scenery.
In the mornings you can join in one of our free Tai Chi, Yoga and Chi Kung classes or unwind in the meditation dome in the woods. Later you can enjoy a healing session from one of the many holistic therapies on offer including acupuncture, massage, healing, reflexology, Indian head-massage, tarot and more to be confirmed [payment by donation with all profits going to the charity World Medicine see
www.worldmedicine.org.uk]. There will also be other workshops on offer, including a healing sound circle, guided meditation and of course the legendary Naked Lady’s club!!
In the evening entertainment will be at the “Live from Love Tent” acoustic stage. Acts confirmed so far are Kodiac Jack, Andy Flight, Vicky Alkalai, Richard, Nathan Chisholm, and the fantastic African rhythm drum circle.
The night will be filled with fire, music, laughter and fresh summer madness…everything we love about life!
Love Tent is a free gathering. All the musicians, healers and crew offer their time and services for free. Everyone is invited to come and contribute in some way in this spirit of sharing. Help build the fire, come and perform, offer a workshop. Whatever it is that you do and love, bring it to Love Tent and share it round!
Love Tent is a private gathering by invitation only held on private land. It is very important that cars are only parked in the designated field provided. All litter that you create should be bagged and removed from the site and disposed of in a suitable manner when you leave. In other words… leave no trace…
A charge of £8 per person per night will be collected by the land owner. £5 for all day trippers. We will also ask for a small donation to cover the running costs of the event. Again, Love Tent is strictly non-profit, and any surplus money will go towards the charity World Medicine.
We are looking for therapists, performers and workshop leaders who would like to share their gifts at Love Tent. If you would like to contribute please call Vicky on 07825148997.
