I haven't been before, but been looking at loads of videos and pics and it looks great, the freedom is just what I need after this year. My boyfriend isn't a massive fan of psytrance but I reckon he will be by the end of it. He's more excited by the atmosphere and experiences to be had there. I think it's gonna be pretty special!

Reckoning if we like it we'll go there next year then Boom in 2010.

Anyone out there who is female (stay with me here,,,,) and up for some work at Ozora 2008?
I run a mobile sauna rig - hence saunadelica - which is going to have-it to some psy trance malarkey this year at Ozora. I have a core crew of two - three at Ozora - but ideally need to balance the crew (we are doing 50/50 at all UK festivals) with two females. Need to enjoy saunas, and not be affronted by their own or others' nudity. Need to be reliable (no sketching off into the maze and never returning..... you know who you are....), up for delving into the dressing up trunk and having a lot of fun.
The gig is this - free ticket to either Nomansland Festival (just before Ozora, on lake Balaton - Headroom playing a live set by the shore........) or Ozora in exchange for morning (8-11) or afternoon (4-7) shifteach day of the festival. We'll do at least one all-night palinka-sauna session between us all - we are also doing horizontal chill-out music, and probably chai/coffee etc too.
Basically, be a part of the team and all that involves. It is unlikely to be too stressful, otherwise I wouldn't be doing it myself!
Either Nomansland or Ozora are open, as of today.
If you can't get yourself there, there are options we can discuss vis a vis a lift. Get in touch if you are interested. We are near Bristol.

Interesting idea! Have already paid for my ticket and wouldn't be able to go to nomansland, but i hope you find some suitable ladies! I'm also a bit too self conscious for that sort of thing although the dressing up trunk sounds fun!

Tickets bought eutotunnel thing sorted too ..... less than 5 weeks to go, can't wait! Really looking forward to meeting you twirlygirl and catching up with Mangakitten & spiralx and friends too as well as lots of others who are heading over there Very Happy

I am slightly panicking that my passport runs out on the 15th August though as we drive back to the UK on the 14th .... talk about cutting it fine. I can't afford to buy a new one but according to the foreign office website stuff none of the countries we're travelling through or Hungary demand that you have x amount of weeks/months etc on it ........

*fingers crossed*

Best of luck with your traveling Shiva, hope they don't give you any hassle over the passport! Shouldn't be as bad via car, bet via plane they would ask more questions.

Oh it's going to be amazing, will be just what I need after this year and a perfect way to celebrate the first week of my freedom (i leave my job on the 1st august!)

Well I am back but don't want to be, gonna write a proper review when our friend comes round with his pics.

Ozora is a psychedelic paradise, it is magic land and it is everything that English festivals can never be in this nanny state we live in.

It is freedom.

It's my special happy place and my heart's still there smitten
